In the last few days of this current Mayor of Salisbury’s Appeal, the Mayor, Cllr. Mike Osment was delighted with a cheque presented for £830 to his Appeal during the Presentation Night at Salisbury Football Club. The money raised is from a very imaginative initiative of selling cakes for donations at home games, and two of the excellent bakers, Sandra and Bev Ellis are pictured here presenting the cheque. The Mayor’s Appeal is helping two youth charities, the Rose Gale Trust and Children’s Chance. Thank you Mr Mayor for attending and thanks to Sandra and Bev for their dedicated work all season.
