At half time of the Eastbourne Borough game we wanted to give a big thanks and special recognition to two people we are sure you will all recognise.
Both Ray and Vanessa are two of our 50/50 sellers who stand out in all weathers throughout the season at the home turnstiles to help make sure we sell as many as we can and make much needed funds for the club.
This is however Ray’s last season standing out in the car park and selling tickets, and we can’t thank him enough! We know all who walk past him and buy tickets will miss him.
Ray’s sold thousands of tickets over the years but can now just turn up, watch the football and enjoy the warm bar!
The award was handed over by Ray’s granddaughter, Charley Thompson and Supporter Club chairman Gordon Plumb.
